Creative Arts is offered to all students by a specialist teacher in an equivalent time allocation of 40 minutes weekly. The program involves six art areas: Painting, Drawing, Clay-modelling, Print-making, Textiles and Construction. Students set goals for their art work and are encouraged to reflect on their art work and art work of others. The Art Program approach is that students learn through experiences with art materials in an environment that encourages experimentation and fun. The emphasis is on the process rather than the product. The students are encouraged to generate their ideas and use skills, techniques and art processes through developmental experiences.
