Digital Technology & Learning

At St Francis de Sales, we prepare students to use technology with confidence, creativity, and integrity. We equip students to navigate technology with purpose and responsibility, building essential skills in digital literacy, problem solving, and critical thinking.

Technology is thoughtfully integrated across all areas of learning, giving students meaningful opportunities to investigate, communicate, and create in a connected world.

Our digital learning approach includes:

  • STEM lessons (Foundation–Year 6)
  • 1:1 Chromebooks for Years 3–6
  • iPads for Foundation–Year 6
  • Year 2 Chromebook Experience program
  • Seesaw to showcase our digital learning portfolios
  • G Suite for Education, including Google Classroom

We promote digital citizenship, eSafety, and digital wellbeing through our partnership with Inform and Empower, providing termly sessions for students and parent information evenings. These sessions support our community to use technology safely, respectfully, and with awareness of balancing screen time and green time.

As we work towards becoming an eSmart School, we are committed to providing a safe, connected, and innovative digital environment where every student can thrive – both online and offline.
